Voting is over… Now veterans are entangled in the equation of victory and defeat

After the voting for the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, the birthday celebration is being celebrated at the bungalow of State Congress President Kamal Nath in Bhopal on Saturday. On the other hand, there is an atmosphere of silence at the BJP office and media centre. Closed-door meetings of BJP leaders including CM Shivraj are being held. In which the mathematics of winning and losing seats is being calculated.

The gathering of media persons which was present throughout the day at BJP’s media center near the railway station was not seen on Saturday. There was no crowd in BJP office also. Chief Minister Chouhan went out for plantation in the morning and got a group photo shoot done with the youth. After this there was no announced meeting. While some officials including State BJP President VD Sharma, State Organization General Secretary Hitanand Sharma kept calculating the manipulations of different seats. Organization officials kept making calculations by taking assembly wise information from the districts also. BJP leaders say that Laadli Brahmin Yojana is taking the party towards victory. After a month of election meetings and rallies, BJP leaders took rest on Saturday.

On the other hand, there was less crowd in the state Congress office also. But, there was an atmosphere of drumbeats and celebration at the bungalow of State Congress President Kamal Nath. There was a gathering of party officials along with many former ministers, MLAs and candidates. A banquet was also organized on the occasion of Kamal Nath’s birthday. State Congress President Nath kept meeting party officials and other leaders during this period. Congress is claiming its victory in the elections, hence there is an atmosphere of extra happiness in the Congress camp.

In this election, Bahujan Samaj Party and Gondwana Gantantra Party had entered into a compromise and fielded candidates on 230 seats. Both the parties claim that BSP and Gongpa candidates will benefit in the Congress-BJP fight. Both these parties will play a decisive role in forming the government. Different calculations are being made regarding this. On the other hand, in the seats where Aam Aadmi Party has fielded candidates, State President Rani Aggarwal and other leaders have been calculating the votes that AAP will get.
