Voter slips to be distributed till April 5 in 17 districts of first phase
Bhopal: Office of the Chief Electoral Officers has directed regarding distribution of photo bearing voter slips during Lok Sabha elections through booth level officers (BLOs) by April 5 in the 17 districts of the state where elections will be held under the first phase. It has written a letter to all district elections officers regarding this. First phase elections in the state will be held on April 10.
The districts where voter slips are to be distributed by April 5 include Satna, Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli, Shahdol, Anuppur, Umaria, Jabalpur, Katni, Mandla, Dindori, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Hoshangabad and Raisen.
Booth level officers (BLOs) and booth level agents (BLAs) will distribute voter slips jointly. The commission has directed to complete distribution of voter slips 5 days before polling. Concerning district election officers have been directed to apprise office of the Chief Electoral Officer to cite reasons if a voter slip is not distributed .
