Two leopards died in Van Vihar due to old age

BHOPAL (PTI): On Tuesday a leopard died due to old-age related ailments, a day after the death of another big cat at the local zoo.

Assistant Director, A K Khare said, the leopard, Rana, was born in the Van Vihar (zoo) in 1994, the civic-run park’s. He informed, it died due to old-age problems.

Khare said, Rana’s food intake had reduced since the last few days.

Another leopard, Jhiria, died of old-age related problems yesterday. After the death of Rana and Jhiria, the park is now left with 11 leopards, he added.
