Three Dacoits Gunned Down in MP
Bhopal — Madhya Pradesh police late on Friday gunned down three dacoits – wanted in connection with over a dozen cases of murder, abduction, loot and extortion – in an encounter in the Rakera jungles of Morena.
The gun-battle erupted after the dacoits – Ranveer Gujjar, Rakesh and Ramsingh Bhagat, all residents of Dholpur in neighbouring Rajasthan – opened fire at a police party on being asked to surrender.
Three guns and 28 live cartridges were recovered from the spot. Ranveer Gujjar carried a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head.
