Targets under Backward Classes and Minorities Self-Employment Schemes to be enhanced

Bhopal: Labour, Backward Classes & Minorities Welfare Minister Shri Antar Singh Arya has said that targets under Chief Minister’s Backward Classes/Chief Minister’s Minorities Self-Employment Schemes will be revised.

Shri Arya said that assistance will be extended to educated unemployed youths belonging to backward classes and minorities to become self-reliant. Targets for free training of these youths for skill development and various competitive exams will also be revised. Shri Arya informed that there is also a plan to increase capacity and quality of Backward Classes State Level Employment and Training Centre. Besides, efforts will also be made to promote free lodging for students of backward classes.
