Swami Vivekananda’s views enlighten nation: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan flagged off a grand procession organised here today by Swami Vivekananda 150th Birth Anniversary Celebrations Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan exhorted the youths to follow ideals of Swami Vivekananda in rebuilding India. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, Shri Chouhan said that social development and welfare is possible only through positive thinking and works. Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts are not only relevant today, but also aim at upliftment of the country. Swami Vivekananda was above narrow-mindedness. He showed the path of camaraderie. He used to say that all religion are paths to attain God. The State Government has taken initiative of organising mass Surya Namaskar to create awaress towards physical fitness among youths.
The Swami Vivekananda Shobha Yatra reached New Market from Veer Sawarkar Chowk via Ghora Nakhas. Madhya Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation Chairman Shri Ramesh Sharma, Bhopal BJP president Shri Alok Sharma and members of Ramkrishna Mission were present on the occasion.
