Students’ good education and teachers’ honour government’s priority: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that students’ good education and teachers’ honour have always remained state government’s priority. Madhya Pradesh government has strengthened foundation of children’s education by taking major decisions. Expansion of quality job-oriented education is included in state government’s action plan.
The Chief Minister was addressing a students’ awareness camp of Tribal Welfare Department at Seoni today. On the occasion, teachers’ unions presented a letter of citation to the Chief Minister, referring to state government’s decisions in the interest of teachers and expressing gratitude for works done for their welfare. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh government has solved teachers’ problems by abolishing posts like Shishakarmi and Guruji and has decided to give “equal salary for equal work”. The Chief Minister said that more schemes for teachers’ welfare will be implemented in future.
The Chief Minister said that better arrangements for education have been made in the state. Special attention has been paid to make education accessible to every section of society. The state government will pay fee of tribal students on taking admission in government and private medical and engineering colleges and other higher education courses. He said that Madhya Pradesh government has take major decision of payment of rent of houses to be rented by students to study in cities.
Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah said that education is foundation of development. Works for education done in Madhya Pradesh have not been carried out anywhere else.

Disabled Ganpat sits with CM on sofa
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan saw that a person disabled in both legs was eager to meet him among the audience. He was expressing his desire by raising both his hands. Immediately, the Chief Minister asked officers to bring and seat the disabled person respectably with him on the sofa. Hearing this, the audience erupted in praise of the CM while the disabled person was also overwhelmed by emotions. The Chief Minister gave him a patient hearing and also presented a cheque of Rs. 50 thousand to him.
