State’s officers and employees to donate Rs. 300 crore to CM’s Relief Fund

Bhopal: All unions of state government officers and employees have decided to donate 2 months’ arrears of increased dearness allowance sanctioned by state government to Chief Minister Relief Fund for assistance to hailstorm-affected farmers of the state. Recognised, unrecognised and officers and employees of corporations & boards are also included in this decision. Dearness allowance of these about 10 lakh employees amounts to about Rs. 300 crore.

All organisations handed over letter of consent in this regard to Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. The Chief Minister said that officers and employees have given message to farmers that they are not alone and entire state is with them. He said that spirit is more important than quantum of money. Officers, employees and people of the state are Team Madhya Pradesh. Shri Chouhan said that suggestions were being given not to give DA in view of this calamity. But the state government does not favour policy to harm employees’ interests. It gave DA to employees at par with Centre. He said that he was overly pleased by this decision of employees unions and takes pride in officers and employees.

Those who handed over letters of consent to the CM included Shri Sultan Singh Shekhawat, Shri Arun Dwivedi, Shri B.R. Vishwakarma, Shri Amar Singh Parmar, Shri L.N. Kailashia, Dr. R.K. Chaurasia, Shri Jitendra Singh, Shri Devi Prasad, Shri Ramesh Chandra Shrma, Shri Nihal singh, Shri M.P. Dwivedi, Shri Ravi Barolia, Shri Ramesh Rathore, Shri Vijay Raghuvanshi, Shri R.K. Tiwari, Shri Ajay Shrivastava, Shri Pradeep Singh, Shri Shiv Pal Singh, Shri Rajesh Tomar etc.
