State to be best in river conservation: CM

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today redressed problems of 12 applicants on the spot in Samadhan online at Mantralaya. He issued instructions to take punitive action against 14 persons for dereliction towards duties.

Volunteers to be associated With Each School

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that response Narmada Seva Yatra is getting is unprecedented. To expand it further, Narmada Seva Mission has been constituted in which forests, revenue departments and Narmada valley development authority have been included. Collector should lead it. Up-yatra should be taken out from other districts apart from districts of Narmada Region. The state has to be made the best in river conservation. Efforts would be made soon for conservation of other rivers. He said that one volunteer should be associated with each school under ‘Mil Banche’ Madhya Pradesh Abhiyan. It should be ensured. Residents of a ward should participate in programmes under Nagar Uday Abhiyan. He issued instructions to focus on diversion work. With issuing instructions for taking strict action in illegal excavation, Shri Chouhan asked districts located Narmada banks and monitor illegal excavation and to submit weekly report. He greeted collector, Panna, for taking action against illegal mining.

Discussion on law and order

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan discussed law and order with officers of police administration. He said that inspector general of police should continue visit their jurisdiction area. He said that strict action should be taken against mafia. Police action should be such that criminals be either in jail or forced to leave the state. Criminals should face tough action. He said that naxalism should not be allowed to spread in the state. Officers of border districts were asked to take action, making inter-state coordination. Expressing concern over crimes related with women, he said that daughters are like deity. Their dishonour won’t be tolerated. The top priority should be given to action against habitual offender and those who are having perverted mentality.

He reviewed separately cases received under Samadhan online and took stock of progress and execution on previous Samadhan online. Instructions were issued to suspend joint director, industries, for lackluster in case of previous Samadhan online.

Problems redressed

The Chief Minister expressed anguish over delay in payment of scholarship to third year student of BBA, Kumari Ruchi Chhabra , Indore, in Samadhan online. He gave a cheque of Rs 10,000 to the students from assistance fund, along with scholarship. He asked chief secretary to take action against those who are responsible for delay in scholarship payment. In case of Mayo College not giving mark-sheet and scholarship to paramedical student Shri Ashok Kumar Lodhi of Bhopal, the chief minister asked collector to take action against responsible college management for the delay.

Stern Action will be taken Against Bank Officers

CM Shri Chouhan issued directives to the Senior Bank Officers to initiate strict action against bank officers during the Samadhan Online today. Action will be taken against Branch Manager State Bank of India-Rajgarh branch and Officers of regional office of Narmada Regional Rural Bank in case of irregularities in Mukhyamantri Swa-Rozgar Yojna and loan distribution work of Antavyasayi Cooperative Societies.

It may be mentioned that a loan of Rs. 3 lakh was sanctioned and sent to the S.B.I Biaora branch for centering work of Shri Hemant of Rajgarh district by the Jila Antavyasayi Cooperative Development Society. The branch manager has told the applicant to fix deposit Rs. 50 thousand to get the loan released. CM Shri Chouhan expressing displeasure over the case has told the bank senior officers to initiate action against the branch manager. Senior Officers of the bank have assured that strict action will be taken against the branch manager Shri Avinash Mishra.

Moreover assurance was given by the Regional Manager of the Narmada Regional Rural bank for stern action against the officers of the regional office. The action will be initiated in the case for not providing subsidy to Shri Vikas Shrivastava of district Dhar who has received loan under the Mukhyamantri Swa-Rozgar. The Regional Manager informed that a total of Rs. 15 thousand including subsidy amount and interest on delay has been paid to the applicant.

Marks sheets and scholarship amount were provided to the students in the programme. Directives to take strict disciplinary action to suspend the Principal Shri Subhash Jaiswal and the then Principal Smt. Gita Tiwari of Government Girls Higher Secondary School was given in case related to non receipt of scholarship and cycle by student Ku. Priya Sen of Umaria district. Collector has immediately provided the cycle to the student. Commissioner Labour Welfare has been told to initiate action within one month in case of Bidi labourer Smt. Umarani, who has not received the second installment under the Awas yojna. Moreover, action to remove Shri Rajesh Shroti from the post of Gram Rozgar Sahayak and to suspend secretary Shri Ravishankar Patel in case of irregularities in boundary construction in agriculture field and toilet construction in Gram Panchayat Pamali – Janpad Panchayat Sohagpur of Hoshangabad district, to stop salary increment of Assistant Development Expansion Officer Shri Amol Singh Jharia and to initiate action under section 40, 92 against Sarpanch was taken. Also directives to terminate the contractual services of sub engineer Shri Anil Saxena and to recover the expenses incurred from sarpanch and secretary in case of irregularities in construction of well installation of Shri Devilal Lodh resident of village Hirapur were issued. Also directives were issued regarding suspension of assistant grade -3 Shri Tekchandra Bunkar, to remove Shri Shivnarayan tailor a daily wager from the post and to take strict disciplinary action against Chief Municipal Officer Neemuch and Assistant Estate Officer for delay in mutation case of Shri Satyanarayan Patidar of district Neemuch. In case of delay in registering F.I.R. regarding Smt. Mullo Bai’s husband death due to electric current at agriculture field, instruction were given to suspend assistant sub inspector Raisen Shri Jagdish Tomar. CM Shri Chouhan expressed displeasure over state government orders neglected by the banks under the Swarozgar Schemes. He directed the Chief Secretary to hold discussions with the banks in this regard.
