Small entrepreneurs to be promoted in government purchase
Bhopal. A meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today decided to allot 9.73 acre land to Sports & Youth Welfare Department for construction of stadium at village Sona Samri in Itarsi in Hoshangabad district. Infrastructure development works including outdoor stadium for athletics, football stadium with pavilion building, indoor stadium, hostel, external development works like roads, parking, pathway, water and power supply, sewage line etc. will be undertaken on this land. For this, new posts of assistant coaches, grounds men, security guards and sanitation workers will be filled through outsourcing. All these will cost total Rs. 7 crore 3 lakh 62 thousand.
Now, micro and small industries and entrepreneurs will have greater participation in government purchase by various departments. For this, the cabinet amended Madhya Pradesh Store Purchase and Service Procurement Rules. In this decision, the state government has kept in view suggestions received from industries associations and development of weavers associated with State Powerloom Weavers Cooperative Federation, Burhanpur. Weavers Federation, Burhanpur has been included as procurement agency.
The cabinet decided to further strengthen system for disposal of lease deeds for land allotted to industries. In it, order for cancellation of lease deed will be given legal status. Now, such orders will be exempted from stamp and registration fee on concerning registration.
The cabinet decided to merge 5 posts of Head Constable in Forester cadre and 15 posts of constables in Forest Guard cadre in new administrative structure sanctioned for Forest Department.
The cabinet gave revised administrative sanction of Rs. 74 crore 54 lakh 19 thousand for Kachna Mandi minor irrigation project. Total designed irrigation capacity of the project is 2219 hectares including 1980 hectares during Kharif and 239 hectares during Rabi season.
The cabinet sanctioned state level 6 posts under Special Economic Assistance of Central government in Madhya Pradesh State Social Audit Committee and 51 posts of district level Social Audit Experts till March 2017. One post each Director and Social Development Expert and 4 posts of Social Audit Expert will be on state level.
The cabinet decided to sanction 54 posts each of court manager, assistant grade-3, stenographer grade-3 and peon for district courts and High Court.
The cabinet decided to endorse recommendations of Project Examination Committee’s meeting regarding modernization of Pre-exam Coaching Centres set up to impart coaching to SC and ST students for competitive exams. The competitive exams include those of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, banks, railway, Life Insurance Corporation and Staff Selection Commissions.
