Silver Peddler Shot by Unidentified Assailants in Panna

A peddler in Panna was on Monday shot by three unidentified persons, who also robbed the victim of silver ornaments worth Rs 14,000, reported PTI.

Superintendent of Police KP Sharma said that silver ornament peddler Rajjan Jadiya was shot dead by three motorcycle borne assailants near Chhattarpur barrier when he was on his way back from Badaur with his aide, report said.

He said that assailants injured Jadiya, snatched his bag containing silver ornaments and ran away, said report.

Sharma said that the injured was rushed to the district hospital for treatment and that efforts were on to nab the accused, report said.
