Shivraj’s demand in the policy commission meeting

Bhopal / New Delhi Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan joined the Governing Council meeting of IOG in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Sunday. In the meeting, he supported the state’s share of central taxes on the basis of population. Some states in the meeting had said that the share of central taxes should not have population base. Shivraj opposed this. He said that the financial condition of many backward states is not well. Therefore, the present system will help such states. He also said that some states have maintained green cover. Many projects of such states get stuck Therefore, these states should be given separate green bonuses separately.

Finance Minister Piyush Goyal sought additional help for the state
The Chief Minister also met the Union Finance Minister Piyush Goyal. In this meeting for half an hour, the Chief Minister demanded additional central assistance for the state. He told the Finance Minister that the amount of GST in April and May has not been done by the reimbursement center of Rs 1096 crore so far. The Chief Minister urged that this amount should be released shortly.

Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh requested to increase the purchase limit of crops
After this, Shivraj met Union Minister of Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh and thanked for the assistance given to Rabi marketing in Chana, Lentil and Mustard Price Support Scheme. The Chief Minister requested the Union Minister to increase the purchase limit of crops to 50 thousand metric tonnes.

AIIMS to see Atalji
After the meeting, Shivraj Singh Chauhan reached the AIIMS hospital to see former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He met doctors and learned about Atalji’s skill. Doctors told that Atalji will soon be discharged from the hospital.
