Rs. 50 lakh Kayakalp Award to Shivpuri district hospital
Bhopal. Central government will confer “Kayakalp” Award to Shivpuri district hospital for better health services and infrastructure development under Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan. This was informed by Industries Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia while reviewing Shivpuri district’s health arrangements here today. Smt. Scindia directed for constant vigil against dengue and proper action for upgradation of nutrition rehabilitation centres in the district.
Principal Secretary Health Smt. Gaur Singh informed that Rs. 50 lakh Kayakalp Award will be conferred to district hospital for better health services and infrastructure development. She informed that Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a state level award ceremony should be held in Shivpuri district. The Principal Secretary informed that Shivpuri hospital will be upgraded to 500-bed hospital. Sanction regarding it will be received by November-December.
