Residents of Ujjain gave live demonstration of “Atithi Devo Bhava”
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that residents of Ujjain city have discharged their responsibilities wholeheartedly and dedicatedly to ensure success of Simhastha. Residents of Ujjain have given live demonstration of Indian tradition of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’. This immense love, affect and conduct further enhanced Simhastha’s prestige and in the world and carved global identity of Ujjain city. Shri Chouhan was addressing gratitude towards residents of Ujjain during gratitude rally at Ujjain today.
Shri Chouhan reached Ujjain with his wife. The Chief Minister started gratitude rally from Mahakal Mandir after Darshan of Lord Mahakal.
From Mahakal premises, the rally passed through Gudri Chouraha, Patani Bazar, Gopal Mandir, Dhaba road, Dani Gate, Gangaur Gate, Ramanuj Kot and concluded at Ramghat. Maa Kshipra was worshipped at Ramghat on conclusion of rally. Large number of Ujjain’s people attended the rally. The Chief Minister was accorded welcome at several places by social organisations, business establishments, employees unions, AJAKS, office-bearers of Panchkroshi Up Samiti etc.
School Education Minister Shri Paras Jain, Simhastha Central Committee’s Chairman Shri Makhan Singh, MPs Dr. Chintamani Malviya and Dr. Satyanarayan Jatia and MLAs Dr. Mohan Yadav, Shri Anil Firojiya, Shri Bahadur Singh Chouhan, Jan-Abhiyan Parishad’s Vice Presidents Shri Pradeep Pandey and Shri Iqbal Singh Gandhi, Vice Chairman of State Finance Commission Shri Babulal Jain, Shri Roop Pamnani and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
