Repairing and maintenance work of National Highways of MP should be handed over back to the state

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh M.P’s called the Union Surface Transport Minister Shri Kamal Nath under the leadership of Sushma Swaraj leader of opposition in Lok Sabha and urged the minister that the earlier system of repair & maintenance works of National Highway should be given back to the state.

This is claimed by the Members of Parliament that the money is not being allotted to the state for repair and maintenance; this resulted in the poor condition of National Highways.

The M.P’s informed that with the lakhs of local people they have staged a dharna on 20th November, 2010 to attract the bad conditions of National Highways in the state. By February 2011 all the National Highways of the state will be repaired said The Union Minister Shri Kamal Nath.
