Over Rs. 196 crore to be spent on water resources 23 works in 12 districts

Bhopal: Water Resources Department will spend Rs. 196 crore 13 lakh 78 thousand on 23 ongoing projects in 12 districts of Madhya Pradesh. Maximum Rs. 107 crore 51 lakh 12 thousand will be spent on Bhanpura canal project of Gandhi Sagar Dam in Mandsaur district.

Rs. 38 crore 56 lakh 31 thousand will be spent on 3 works of Barna project and remaining construction works stop dam-cum-barrage at village Dobi in Raisen district, Rs. 12 crore 59 lakh 85 thousand on 2 tunnels between RD 3120 meters to 3570 meters and from RD 5320 to 5635 and works of upstream and downstream complete transition of Bilgaon medium irrigation project in Dindori district, Rs. 10 crore 32 lakh 77 thousand on construction of reservoirs and canals at Dhanura, Banasi and Jhalmal in Shahdol district, Rs. 8 crore 33 lakh 29 thousand on 5 works of Barnu and Madai reservoirs in Jabalpur district, Rs. 4 crore 36 lakh on spill channel, approach channel, head sluice, flushware, shootfall, earthwork of Taradand reservoir in Anuppur district, Rs. 3 crore 36 lakh 15 thousand on cement-concrete lining in upstream and downstream’s special improved structure of canal structure of channel from number 0 to 965 upto number 103 and Rs. 3 and 2 cement-concrete works on channel 2 of Kulpa-Karanja distributary canal in Balaghat district, Rs. 3 crore 64 lakh 73 thousand on construction of Bais-Betwa Link Project and remaining works of Pipalkhera canal in Vidisha district and Rs. 1 crore 33 lakh 96 thousand will be spent on remaining works of Katangi reservoir’s dam, sluice, flushware spill channel and structures.
Similarly, Rs. 88 lakh 19 thousand will be spent on construction works of Khajuriya Ghat weir in Sagar district, Rs. 79 lakh 39 thousand on remaining works of dam and canal of Pahrua reservoir in Katni district and Rs. 62 lakh 54 thousand will be spent on repair works of equipments installed at lift irrigation projects at Pathara, Mohra, Jawa, Chandi, Gaadha Barauli in Rewa district.
