Over 500 investors to participate in Global Investors’ Summit

Bhopal: Over 500 investors from the country and abroad will participate in the proposed three-day Global Investors’ Summit. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed to undertake minute and comprehensive preparations for this prestigious event. Global Investors’ Summit will be held at Indore from October 28.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan made point-wise review of Global Investors’ Summit here today. Industries Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram and Principal Secretary Industries Shri Prasanna Kumar Dash were also present on the occasion.

It was informed at the meeting that several big industrial houses have given consent to attend this meet. Huge investments will be made mainly in ten sectors at this three-day summit. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed that all the investors big or small should be equally honoured and given facilities as per existing policy.

It was decided at the meeting that entire week during dates of Global Investors’ Summit will be dedicated to investment, establishment of new industries and industrial development in Madhya Pradesh.

It was informed that a global-level exhibition will be organised at the summit venue Lalganga Ground highlighting industrial scenario and specialities of Madhya Pradesh on the first day of the summit on October 28. During the three-day event, one-to-one meetings with industrialists will be held and MoUs will be signed. Other necessary measures will also be ensured like cultural programmes to make the event grand, interesting and meaningful.

Meetings with industrialists

Earlier, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan held direct dialogue with industrialists during his regular meeting with them on every Monday. During the meeting Dr. Rajesh Sharma of Narmada Trauma Centre, Bhopal expressed wish to set up such a dream project due to which no patient from Madhya Pradesh has to go to other states for treatment. The project will be in the form of health club, which will also have revolutionary therapies like stem cell therapy.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that proposal is indeed impressive. He urged Dr. Sharma to present a detailed outline of the project as per State Government’s expectations. Shri Chouhan said that he also wishes that common people get all medical and treatment facilities in Madhya Pradesh itself.
