No society should become LDB now: Vishwas sarang
Bhopal. Minister of State for Cooperatives, Gas Relief & Rehabilitation (Independent charge), Panchayats & Rural Development Shri Vishwas Sarang has said that No society should become LDB now. Bring banks in profit within a year. He directed to set up Cooperative Innovation Wing within a week. Shri Sarang was reviewing departmental activities after assuming office till late night of Wednesday.
Shri Sarang said that action plan should be chalked out to bring cooperatives societies in profit. Special attention should be paid to banks so that they are not wound up. He said that these institutions are biggest strength of cooperatives sector. Large number of farmers and poor people are connected with them. Shri Sarang said that this is the era of innovations. Department should pay special attention to it. He also directed to constitute labour federation in cooperatives sector. Through it, regular employment will be given to construction labourers. He said that later this federation will also be linked to government level construction works.
The Minister said that the Chief Minister wishes acceleration in work. Therefore, file tracking system should be implemented in the department byJuly 15. Movement of files should be tracked at every level. The person to who a file is sent should also be informed through SMS. He directed Principal Secretary Cooperatives to also chalk out a calendar so that every work is done within prescribed time-limit.
Shri Sarang said that Sahakar Parisar concept should be implemented as pilot project and late extended to every division and then districts. The Parisar should be made centre of tourism, health, environment and employment. He also directed to formulate bylaws separately under Cooperatives Act for urban and rural areas. Due to it, works in cooperatives sector will be undertaken practically and as per local requirements.
The Minister said that object of cooperatives sector is to bring positive changes in socio-economic sector. Work needs to be done unitedly for this.
Chairs meeting on holiday also
MoS for Cooperatives (independent charge) Shri Sarang held meeting of officers even on holiday. He held discussions on Vidhan Sabha questions. He said that replies to questions asked by MLAs in Assembly should be given with full preparation.
Principal Secretary Cooperatives Shri Ajit Kesari, Commissioner Cooperatives and Registrar Societies Shri Manish Shrivastava and MARKFED’s Chairman Shri B.M. Sharma also attended the meeting.
