Doctors cannot refuse to provide health services

Bhopal: The State Government has banned refusal to provide essential services to state’s all medical, dental, Ayurvedic, Unani and homoeopathic colleges and hospitals attached to them, all government hospitals, dispensaries, health centres and health education institutions. The ban has been imposed for 3 months with effect from July 12, 2013. State Government has taken this step in exercise of power vested in it by Madhya Pradesh Atyavashyak Sewa Sandharan Tatha Vichhinnata Nivaran Adhiniyam, 1979.
