Need to teach lesson to those messing with country’s security: CM

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has stressed the need to teach a lesson to those playing with country’s security.
“Dastardly terrorist attacks will not undermine country’s morale,” said Chouhan while addressing convocation of new inspectors of Central Reserve Police Force at Bangrasia.
Chouhan said that entire country stands by families of martyrs laying down their lives for country’s security. Paying tributes to jawan late Omprakash from Madhya Pradesh, who died in terrorist attack in Jammu-Kashmir a couple of days ago, he said that family of the martyr will be provided Rs 15 lakh and a plot apart from job to one family member.
“Martyrs’ lives are precious. It is our duty to look after their families,” he said. The chief minister also added that there is no scope for narrowness in culture. He told the new inspectors that they are storehouses of immense powers. He said that exemption from VAT will be considered on material supplied to CRPF personnel from canteen.
At the programme, Chouhan gave away prizes to three new inspectors having put in outstanding performance including Praveen Singha, Mohit Singh and L Premjeet Singh. He handed over Best Battalion Trophy to 155th Battalion and trophy for fiscal discipline to CATI, Shivpuri.
1004 new inspectors presented attractive march past under the leadership of Parade Commander Subhash Vajpayee on the tune of “Saare Jahan Say Achha Hindostan Hamara” during the programme.
In his welcome address, IG, CRPF Ranjeet Singh informed that the Central Reserve Police Force was came into existence in the year 1939 in Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh. IG, CRPF Dayaram proposed a vote of thanks.
