Narmada water gift to Mahugaon in development journey
On the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Ministers and people’s representatives took out Vikas Yatra in all the Assemblies.
Foundation stones and inaugurations of development works also took place. In this series, on Sunday, Tourism, Culture and Religious Trust and Endowments Minister Usha Thakur took out a Vikas Yatra in Mahugaon of her constituency. He also gifted Narmada water from door to door to the residents of 8 colonies.
When Narmada water reached every house in 8 colonies of Vidhansabha, the Kalash Yatra started from Mahugaon which passed through PC Valley Colony, Super City and ended at Shanti Nagar intersection. Minister Thakur listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” program along with the workers at the beneficiary conference held during the Vikas Yatra.
She also inaugurated the roads and Anganwadi buildings of various colonies of Mahugaon. Beneficiaries were given benefits from various schemes of the government. Sports materials were distributed to the students of the Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department.
