Nari Shakti Ko Pranam: Samra, Shabnam felicitated by Bhopal Brijbhoomi Foundation

Bhopal: More than 50 women, who have been doing commendable works in the field of social service, were felicitated during a programme ‘Nari Shakti Ko Pranam’ at People’s Auditorium in Bhopal on Thursday. The programme was organised by Bhopal Brijbhoomi Foundation, Mathura.
Samra Akhtar, a dietician at Bansal Hospital, was felicitated for her immense contribution in the field, on the occasion by Congress MLA Kunal Chaudhary. Syed Shabnam Meer was also commended by the Congress MLA for her relentless efforts in the field of education and skill development. Inspired by works done by her father Syed Aftab Meer and brother Syed Asif Meer in the field of education, Shabnam has been educating underprivileged children and imparting them job-oriented training and skills. The ceremony is being held under the supervision of Hema Malini, Member of Parliament from Mathura.
Women, who have made outstanding contributions in the field of art, culture, agriculture, education, health, sports, social service and other fields were felicitated in the ceremony.
