Ansari Concludes Aftrica Tours, Inks Two Pacts with Botswana

Indian Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari has wrapped up his week-long tri-nation Africa tour at Botswana.

Ansari arrived in Botswana on Saturday and held delegation level talks with his host Momfati Merafhe, Vice President of Botswana and a former army officer who got military training in India.

During the visit, the two leaders singed two pacts in the field of agriculture and education.

Ansari’s engagements on the last day of his seven-day African trip were a tour of the facilities of the Diamond Trading Co and addressing the Indian community.
