Man Shot Dead in Ratlam over Water Dispute
Following a dispute over water, a man was shot dead in Ratlam district, said media reports citing police.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Ramsingh Darbar area of the district when Ranchandra, 33, tried to stop Ram Singh from drawing water from borewell.
Police said that Ram Singh reacted angrily by whipping out pistol and shooting Ramchandra dead, said reports.
It’s the second case of this type in the state in a fortnight, reports said.
On March 31, an 18-year-old girl was stabbed to death Indore when she did not allow neighbours to draw water from a tap in her home.
