Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad is playing an important role in the field of public welfare- CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Jan Abhiyan Parishad will become the nodal agency for the implementation of environmental protection schemes by uniting the voluntary organizations of the state and for people’s participation in public welfare works and schemes in adverse circumstances like Corona. Along with this, it will be mandatory for every voluntary organization working in the state to get registered in the Parishad’s portal.

Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad is playing an important role in the field of public welfare. Hence the Ladli Bahna Yojana started for the empowerment of women and all the people associated with the Parishad should work with determination to build a new Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the state-level Mahakumbh of the Prasfutan Samitis of Jan Abhiyan Parishad working in the state, mentors of Chief Minister’s Community Leadership Development Course and members of voluntary organizations working in the state at Jamboree Ground in Bhopal today.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Jan Abhiyan Parishad has done a wonderful job. It is a federation of voluntary organisations, which has now become a banyan tree. The Parishad has done excellent work in areas like water conservation, drug rehabilitation and energy conservation.

In the year 2019, the then government stopped the activities of the Parishad instead of encouraging them. Financial assistance given to emerging institutions was stopped. People associated with social service were not taken well by the then government. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that living for others is the reality of life. There is no meaning in living just for yourself.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Jan Abhiyan Parishad is working diligently to take the schemes of the government to the masses. Miracles can be done only by uniting the society. The miracle of public welfare will happen only when the society stands with the government.

In the state level conference, a tripartite MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister and President of MP Jan Abhiyan Parishad Shri Chouhan. These included Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Rural University, Satna and Heart Fullness Institute (Shri Ramchandra Mission), Samunnati Financial Inter Mediation and Services Private Limited.Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad will be the nodal agency to ensure public participation in public welfare schemes run by all government departments of the state. It is mandatory for every NGO working in Madhya Pradesh to register in the Jan Abhiyan Parishad portal and upload annual reports and activities, so that transparency and accountability can be ensured. Every department of the state government will hand over the work of publicity, survey and all the work of public participation to the Jan Abhiyan Parishad.
