Madhya Pradesh continues to top the infant malnutrition in the country
LUCKNOW: The Bahujan Samaj Party has asked Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad to look into the performance of BJP governments in other states.Describing allegations of deteriorating law and order collapse and corruption against its government in the state as baseless.
BSP spokesman said that National Crime Research Bureau data shows that crime against women in UP is 11.9%, whereas the same in Gujarat is 13.9% and Madhya Pradesh 22.3%.
Maya said regarding development of dalits, BSP government has not only filled backlog of reserved category posts lying vacant in the state for long, but has also recruited 20,000 scheduled caste persons as teachers.
The government created over one lakh new posts for sweepers. The malnutrition among infants has come down by four units in BSP rule, whereas Madhya Pradesh continues to top the infant malnutrition in the country.
The BSP spokesman also said that BJP should remember corruption in Karnataka and during its rule in the Centre. He also said that BSP is the only party, which has promptly taken action against its own ministers and MLAs after their names figured in criminal cases.
