Lodge Complaints on 181 about Mismanagement in Pradhanmantri Awas Yojna

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that complaints towards mismanagement in Pradhanmantri Awas Yojna can be lodged through 181 at CM Helpline. He mentioned that the list of selected beneficiaries will be pasted in gram panchayat offices. CM Shri Chouhan was speaking during the House Allotment Sanction Letter distribution programme held at Manawar of district Dhar to distribute House allotment sanction letters to 31 thousand houseless persons of 4 districts.

CM Shri Chouhan said that now nobody will be left houseless in the state. By enacting law in the state, land will be provided to each houseless person to construct house. If need arises, private land will be purchased to give land rights to the houseless persons. As per the intention of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, house arrangements will be made for all till 2022. He further mentioned that mismanagement in implementation of this scheme will not be tolerated and culprits will not be spared at any cost. In case of complaints, stern action will be taken against the concerned persons. Scheme will be implemented transparently.

Union Minister for Rural Development Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that works in the leadership of the CM Shri Chouhan regarding upliftment of poor are being undertaken on priority. He further stated that Madhya Pradesh is leading in the country in implementation of Pradhanmantri Awas Yojna. A target has been set to construct One crore houses in the country in the next three years. Eleven lakh 78 thousand houses will be constructed in Madhya Pradesh in next three years. As per the prescribed norms houses will be allotted to SC/ST families from the total target. Beneficiaries are being selected on the basis of socio-economic status and caste census.

State’s Minster for Panchayat and Rural Development Shri Gopal Bhargava informed that the state was not getting the sufficient amount for house construction from the Union Government in previous years. Now sufficient amount is being provided under the scheme implemented by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

It may be mentioned that house allotment letters were presented to around 3 lakh 25 thousand houseless persons in all the districts of the state in a single day itself under the scheme. Also financial assistance of Rs. One lakh 50 thousand to construct house is being provided to houseless person. Under this amount, Rs. 12 thousand is earmarked for construction of toilet and Rs. 18 thousand is given towards remuneration for construction of house.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan paid floral tribute before the pictures of Late Shri Sunderlal Patwa and Late Shri Deendyal Upadhyaya. Two minutes silence was observed during the programme. MP Smt. Savitri Thakur, President Jila Panchayat Smt. Malti-Mohan Patel, MLAs Smt. Ranjana Baghel, Smt. Neena-Vikram Verma, Shri Bhanwarsingh Shekhawat, Shri Velsingh Bhuriya, Shri Shantilal Bilwal, Shri Kalsingh Bhabar, Shri Madhavsingh Dawar, District President BJP Dr. Raj Barfa and Shri Daulatsingh Bhavsa, President Nagar Palika Smt. Mamta Joshi, Shri Rajkumar Jain and Additional Chief Secretary Rural Development Shri Radheshyam Julaniya were present in the programme.
