Life meaningful only when lived for country, society and others: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh has said that life is meaningful only when one lives for country, society and others’ welfare. The true bliss lies in service of people and state’s development. Shri Chouhan was addressing the inaugural session of 3-day Service Meet of Madhya Pradesh IAS Association at Academy of Administration here today.

Shri Chouhan said that happiness of body, mind and heart is necessary for a happy life. Apart from work, we should also spare some time for our family and self. Goals of life cannot be achieved in true sense if attention is not paid to family life. He said that human beings want happy life. The first happiness is disease-free body since it the medium to perform all duties. After it, happiness of mind and heart is also vital. A complete life is one in which attention is paid to all aspects of happiness. The happiness is which follows commands of inner-self.

Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa said that Madhya Pradesh is regarded as the best IAS cadre in the country. State’s political tradition and social atmosphere is such that administrative officers can work better here. He said that problems impeding clean and sensitive administration will be redressed. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has motivated us as team.

Delivering the welcome address at the outset, Madhya Pradesh IAS Association’s President Smt. Aruna Sharma said that it is conducting a number of welfare activities. The association has also incepted Welfare Fund. Academy of Administration’s Director General Shri I.S. Dani also spoke on the occasion. Association’s Vice-President Shri Ashok Warnwal, Secretary Shri Sanjay Goyal , IAS officers of Madhya Pradesh Former Cabinet Secratary Shri T.S.R. Subranamaniyam and State Election Commissioner Shri R. Parshuram were present on the occasion. The programme was conducted by Shri Hari Ranjan Rao.
