Israels Counsel General Shri David meets CM
Bhopal. Israel’s Consul General Shri David Akov met Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. Shri Chouhan said that Israel and Madhya Pradesh can collaborate in water recycling and water management sectors.
Shri Chouhan invited Shri Akov to Global Investors Summit to be held at Indore in October. He said that 7 major cities in the state are being made Smart. Besides, small cities are also being developed as Mini Smart Cities. Israel can collaborate in the process. Israel and India are natural friends. Israel has done commendable work in agriculture, water management and defence production sectors. Madhya Pradesh is pioneer in agriculture growth rate in the country.
Consul General Shri David said that his country is collaborating with various states of the country in water management, agriculture and rooftop solar energy sectors. Israel wishes to work in these sectors in Madhya Pradesh too. Principal Secretary to CM Shri S.K. Mishra, Commissioner Industries Shri V.L. Kanta Rao and MD of TRIFAC Shri D.P. Ahuja were also present at the meeting.
