Irregularities in wheat procurement could lend in Jail
BHOPAL: The review meeting of Cooperative Department was held on Tuesday. In the meeting Cooperative Minister Gaurishankar Bisen and Chief Secretary R. Parasuram were present along with the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The Chief Minister has instructed that the persons indulging in any irregularity in wheat procurement should directly be sent to jail.
He also instructed that no farmer face any type of difficulty at procurement centers and there should be no overweighing and under weighing. He informs that only Madhya Pradesh is providing bonus to the farmers during the procurement of the wheat.
He also instructed to maintain strict vigil in the border areas so that wheat cannot enter the state from other states. He is in favor of abolishing the useless or impratical cooperative sector schemes
