International passport mandatory for Haj yatra
Bhopal. Get it ready your Internation passport, if you are going to Haj yatra this year. Madhya Pradesh State Haj Committee has advised applicants to get their passports prepared right now. Besides, earlier issued passport should also be valid till March 31, 2014.
State Haj Committee Chairman Dr. Sanawwar Patel informed that as per a circular issued by Haj Committee of India, Mumbai, applicants intending for Haj pilgrimage have been informed that they should get their passports prepared right now. Besides, earlier issued passport should also be valid till March 31, 2014. Applicants should also ensure that two last pages of passport are left blank where visa can be stamped. Besides, the applicants whose passports validity is expiring before the stipulated date should get their passports renewed.
According to the committee, applicants for Haj-2013 must provide cancelled cheque and IFS Code invariably with their application. Due to this any refundable amount can be received back by applicant at the earliest. Applicants have also been advised to open their bank accounts in any nationalized bank.
