Information technology should be extended upto remotest areas

Bhopal: Information Technology Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh has said that extension of information technology to remotest areas will be the main basis of state’s development. It should be ensured that every persons, specially educated youths, in the state is trained and becomes partner in his and state’s progress. Shri Singh chaired 121st meeting of Board of Directors of Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Limited here today.
Shri Bhupendra Singh said that land allotment for units in IT parks and promotion process should be smooth. Shri Singh said that a report should be submitted to the Board of Directors that investors are using land only for information technology. He directed to fix a time-limit for receiving and disposing off applications.
Secretary Information Technology and Managing Director Shri Hari Ranjan Rao presented last meeting’s minutes and action taken report. The meeting discussed IT parks and project activities, establishment of electronics manufacturing clusters in Bhopal and Jabalpur, agreement with NSDL for payment gateway etc.
