Industrialists and senior company executives call on Chief Minister Shri Chouhan
Industrialists and senior executives of various companies called on Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today and discussed their on going projects as well as Global Investors’ Summit to be held at Indore in October 2012.
Those who called on the Chief Minister included Tata International Managing Director Shri Noel Tata, Aditya Birla Group CEO Shri Thomas Vergheese, Shri K.K. Maheshawari and Shri Lalit Nayak of GRASIM Industries, HINDALCO Vice-Chairman Shri Devinarayan Bhattacharya, Idea Cellular CEO Shri Sunil Tolani, Shri Madhusudan Agrawal and Shri Yogesh Agrawal of Ajanta Pharma Limited. Besides, Godrej & Boyce MD Shri Jamshed Godrej, CII Western and Cumic Generator Technology India Ltd Director Shri Pradeep Bhargava, Mahindra & Mahindra Director Shri Arun Nanda and MESTEK Limited Founder Shri Ashank Desai also called on Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. Secretary to CM Shri S.K. Mishra was also present on the occasion.
During his meeting with Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, Tata International’s Shri Noel Tata informed about his plan to establish a mega leather cluster at Dewas in Madhya Pradesh whereas representatives of Ajanta Pharma showed interest in establishing a 25 MW solar power plant in the state.
The CII representatives discussed establishment of food park, food processing plants and tourism development in Madhya Pradesh during their meeting with the Chief Minister. It may be mentioned that CII is a partner in organising the proposed Global Investors Summit to be held at Indore in October 2012
