High aims help achieve progress in life : Governor

Bhopal: Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav has said that the children who set high aims in their student life make it to the top in life. The Governor was addressing golden jubilee ceremony of Anand Vihar School here today. Shri Yadav said that schools give significant cooperation in building good society by imparting education to students. He said that it is the responsibility of educational institutions and teachers to ensure students’ all-round development through extracurricular activities apart from imparting education to them so that they can face challenges of life in this age of competition with successes.
Governor Shri Yadav felicitated school’s students having put in outstanding performance in studies as well as extracurricular activities. He also honoured the ladies who have worked as president of the schools’ educational institution Vanita Samaj. He also released school’s souvenir.
Earlier, Vanita Samaj’s president Hina Bose and school’s chairperson Archana Bagchi welcomed the Governor. Principal Smt. Arora presented school’s annual report.
The programme began with Ganesh Vandana. Students presented songs, ballets, orchestra, Qawwali, sport fiesta, film music – Kal Aur Aj – Mati Ke Rang, golden and combo delight, puppet dance, Bhangra etc. Drama “Lakh ki Naak” gave anti-corruption message. Golden Aura left the audience spell-bound by releasing golden rays on the occasion of golden jubilee. The school also presented a memento to the governor.
