HE Minister dedicates anganwadi centre at Ward-25
Bhopal : Anganwadi centres will be run in government buildings only, stated Higher and Technical Education Minister Umashankar Gupta while dedicating an anganwadi centre building at Rama Nagar in ward-25 here today. He said that buildings of all anganwadi centres in the state are being constructed one-by-one.
Gupta said that political workers should also connect with social concerns. He said that benefit of Ladli Laxmi Yojana has been given to about 21 lakh girls in the state. Gupta also distributed certificates under the scheme to girls.
Gupta has adopted 55 malnourished children. He said that no child should remain malnourished. Gupta felicitated persons and institutions working to eradicate malnourishment.
Gupta informed that Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah and Nikah Yojana has been implemented for girls’ marriage. Government gives loan guarantee upto Rs. one crore taken by youths from banks to start self-employment.
