Govt Lifts Ban on Use of ACs in Offices
Bhopal — With the mercury continuing to soar menacingly, the General Administration Department has lifted a state-wide ban, prohibiting use of air-conditioners in government offices from April 1, 2010.
Issuing instructions to various department heads, the GAD has urged for the judicious and efficient use of the appliance.
The use of air-conditioners had been banned in all state government offices as an energy-austerity measure.
