Governor pays tributes to former Deputy Prime Minister late Shri Jagjivan Ram Bhopal: Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav has paid tributes to freedom fighter and former Deputy Prime Minister late Shri Babu Jagjivan Ram on his 107th birth anniversary. Governor Shri Yadav said that former Deputy Prime Minister late Shri Babu Jagjivan Ram had dedicated his life for upliftment of downtrodden, exploited, SC and ST people. He gave important contribution to India’s Green Revolution. He also played an important role as Defence Minister in India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971 war and formation of Bangladesh. The Governor has exhorted youths to play an active role in country’s progress and development by imbibing late Babu Jagjivan Ram’s ideals and teachings
