Government servants coming to office on foot and on cycles honoured

Bhopal. In a unique felicitation function, government servants coming to Mantralaya daily on foot and riding cycles were honoured here today. At Mantralaya’s conference hall, Higher Education Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta felicitated talented students, daily Yoga practitioners, Yoga trainers, Gau Sewaks and the government servants living in joint family with parents and parents-in-law. The class IV employees who ensured higher education of their children despite being low-paid were also felicitated.

The Minister congratulated talented students while giving away letters of citations and gifts. Shri Gupta wished success in life to those felicitated. The Minister said that this is an age of competition in which success can be achieved only through harder work. The Minister said that nothing can stop a talent. Special guest and Advisor to CM Shri Shiv Chaube said that Gau Sewaks will continue to be felicitated at other platforms as well to promote cow keeping and cow conservation.

Mantralaya Employees Union’s President Shri Sudhir Nayak informed about its activities. Shri Subhash Verma conducted the proceedings. Union’s office-bearers Shri Anil Tiwari, Shri R.K. Patel etc. were also present. Sushri Amisha Malviya recited poems of Pt. Suryakant Tripathi “Nirala”.
