Government schools’ meritorious students will be honoured

BHOPAL (MPINFO): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will honour 101 merit-holder students and 847 boy and girl students of government schools who have secured more than 85 percent marks in high school and higher secondary exams. Principals of 104 schools registering cent percent results will also be honoured on the occasion.

Students from all over the state will remain present at the function to be held from 9.30 am at CM’s residence. The 101 merit holder boy and girl students are from both government and non-government schools whereas the 847 students who have secured more than 85 students belong to government schools only. The principals to be honoured belong to both government and non-government educational institutions.

CM will be the chief guest at the function, which will be presided over by School Education Minister Archana Chitnis while Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah and Minister of State for School Education Nanabhau Mohod will be the guests of honour.

At the function Rs. 25 thousand for purchasing computer or laptop and a citation each will be given to the students who have secured more than 85 percent marks. School principals will be felicitated with shawls and coconuts while Rs. 25 thousand will be given to the student topping the merit list of high school and Rs. 16 thousand to the each student upto 10th position in the merit list in the descending order. Similarly, Rs. 30 thousand will be given to the student topping the merit list of high secondary exams and Rs. 21 thousand to the each student upto 10th position in the merit list in the descending order
