500 rupees will be returned if a gas cylinder is bought in Sawan, approves Cabinet

Cabinet approves Bhopal South-West Bypass

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told the cabinet meeting on Thursday that Rs 500 for LPG cylinder in the month of Sawan will be returned to women. This amount will be returned to the sisters’ Aadhaar linked account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). It has been decided to provide gas cylinders for Rs 450 in Sawan. Apart from this, the cabinet also approved a new bypass in the south-west part of Bhopal.

Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that those who have Ujjwala connections, their bank accounts will be credited immediately. The amount will be deposited after filling the remaining forms. From July 4, 2023 to August 31, 2023, only those who take gas cylinders will get the benefit.

 

The Home Minister said that all the increased electricity bills till August 31, 2023 will be postponed. The Chief Minister has given instructions for this. These bills will come to zero in September. Apart from this, approval of Rs 167.59 crore has been given in the cabinet for the renovation of Satpura Bhavan which was damaged by fire in April 2023.

 

The cabinet meeting was held in ‘Samtva Bhawan’, the office of CM House.

Bypass will be 40.90 km long, benefiting a population of 10 lakhs

Bhopal South-West Bypass, to be built at a cost of about Rs 3000 crore, will reduce the distance of vehicles going from Jabalpur-Narmadapuram to Indore-Mumbai by 25 km. This route will benefit about 10 lakh population of Kolar, Nilbad-Ratibar of Bhopal district, Mandideep of Raisen district and Sehore district.

This bypass will be 40.90 km long. It will have a six-lane structure with four lanes and a two-lane service road on both sides. There is also a part of the forest in this route. It will have a six-lane ROB, two flyovers, 15 underpasses and two major junctions. The number of trees cut for this will be planted elsewhere as per rules. It is to be made on Hybrid Annuity Mode.

 

A new sub-division, Jawa, was created in Rewa district. 12 posts have been sanctioned for this. It was decided to include 100 Patwari circles.

The annual income limit of Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana was increased from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh.

It was decided to reduce the market fee of cotton traders to Rs 0.50 till March 31, 2024.

Formation of Dev Narayan Board for Gurjar welfare was approved.

Incentive and retirement amount of ASHA workers increased

Approval was given to increase the incentive amount of Asha workers from Rs 2000 to Rs 6000.

Approval was given to increase the amount given on retirement of Urban Asha Supervisors from Rs 20000 to Rs 100000.

Games organized from 15 September to 2 October.

Large scale games will be organized at the district, division and state levels from September 15 to October 2.

Under the Kayakalp Scheme in Municipalities, Nagar Panchayats and Municipal Corporations, Rs 1200 crore was sanctioned for the roads of the cities.

It was decided to provide benefits of Ladli Brahmin Yojana to Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya tribes.

Approval was given to two new group tap water schemes in Sailana of Ratlam and Lavkushanagar of Chhatarpur.
