Finally the MP farmers got relief

Bhopal: Funds of total 2 crore 83 lakh rupees allotted for paying relief to the farmers in nine districts. Sagar, Panna, Raisen, Shivpuri, Badwani, Rajgarh, Mandsaur, Burhanpur, and Alirajpur are included.

Sagar farmers have been allotted a relief amount of Rs 1 crore 10 lakh to the and Rs 1 crore 6 lakh and 49 thousand to farmers of Panna district has been allotted for damage to the crops. Rs 35 lakh has been allotted to Raisen district, Rs 10 lakh each to Shivpuri, Rajgarh and Mandsaur districts, Rs 8 lakh to Badwani district and Rs 2 lakh each to Burhanpur and Alirajpur districts.

Madhya Pradesh government has constituted a committee to review the damages caused by natural calamities. Damages are caused due to crop failure and snake bite. The committee is headed by the Chief Secretary and it allots fund to the districts as per demand received from the districts also the committee taking care of the Disaster Relief Fund and National Disaster Emergency Fund.
