Every section of society should be active partner in rebuilding of state: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called upon that every section of society to be active partner in rebuilding of state. He said that the state government is developing industry and agriculture side by side. No stone is being left unturned to provide better education and employment to maximum number of youths. Shri Chouhan was addressing an “Aao Banayen Madhya Pradesh” convention at Anuppur today. On the occasion, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for Rs. 35 crore construction works.

The Chief Minister said that a network of cottage and small industries is being laid to ensure state’s economic growth and to provide new employment opportunities. Assistance to youths is being given to help them establish self-employment under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana. Trade Promotion Board has been constituted to promote business. Education is being improved. Laptops will be given to class XII students securing over 85 percent marks.

Referring to agriculture, the Chief Minister said that all agriculture-related schemes will be chalked out only after consulting farmers. Farmers will be sent on government expenses to study modern farming countries in foreign countries. Apart from traditional farming, horticulture is also being promoted. Rs. 600 crore has been provisioned for relief to excessive rains-affected farmers.

Shri Chouhan urged people to plant maximum number of saplings, conserve village’s water in the village, keep village clean and de-addict it and ensure respect to girls and women. He said that Rs. 5 lakh each will be given additionally to Panchayat elected unopposed. The Chief Minister also went round an exhibition put up on the occasion by various departments. He also worshipped feet of girls. Earlier on arrival at Anuppur, tribal artistes greeted him with traditional Gudum dance.
