Ensure admission of all children in schools : Bisen

Chindwara. Cooperative Minister and in-charge of Chhindwara district Shri Gaurishankar Bisen has urged the peoples representatives to make school chale abhiyan a mass movement. He was addressing a district-level workshop at chhindwara on Sunday.
‘Children are future of our county. So please ensure admission of all the children from 5 to 14 years of age in schools and help school chalein abhiyan to become a mass movement’, Bisen added.  Shri Bisen also instructed to organise workshops at development block-level from June 16 to 22. Shri Bisen said that children who can be admitted to class 1 in schools should be identified at Matritva Melas to he held at Anganwadi level on June 12 and admitted to school by observing Pravesh Utsav. The in-charge minister also apprised himself of schemes for distribution of free cycles, uniforms and text-books.
Every possible help for making agriculture a profitable occupation
Shri Bisen said that every possible help will be provided to farmers with a view to making agriculture a profitable occupation in the state. Shri Bisen was addressing the inaugural function of Science Fair and Exhibition at Agriculture Science Centre at Chandangaon in the district on Sunday.
Shri Bisen lauded record production of maize in Chhindwara district. Referring to extension of loans at only one percent to farmers, Shri Bisen said that Madhya Pradesh is the only state where loans are being provided to farmers at such a low interest rate. The Cooperative Minister urged farmers to repay agricultural loans timely. At the Agriculture Fair, maize seed kits were distributed to farmers at 90 percent subsidy under Maize Extension Programme. It was chalked out to provide 225 quintals of bybrid maize seeds to 6,500 farmers in the district. Former Member of Parliament Sushri Anusuiya Uikey and local people’s representatives were also present on the occasion.
