Election Commissioner of India in Bhopal on October 28-29

Bhopal: Chief Election Commissioner of India Shri V.S. Sampat, Deputy Election Commissioner Shri Sudhir Tripathi, Director General Shri P.K. Dash and Director General Shri Akshay Raut will arrive at Bhopal on October 28 at 3.20 pm. Shri Sampat and other officers will hold a meeting with representatives of recognised political parties at Hotel Jehan Numa Palace from 5 to 6.30 pm.

The Election Commission will review election preparations at a meeting with divisional commissioners, IGs, district election officers/collectors, DIGs and SPs at Narmada Bhavan on October 29 from 9 am to 1.30 pm. From 2.30 to 3 pm, the commission will hold a meeting with Additional Chief Secretary Finance, Principal Secretary Institutional Finance, Chief Income Tax Commissioner and Director General IT. Information pertaining to election preparations will be sought at a meeting with the Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary Home and DGP from 3 to 3.30 pm. After press briefing from 4 to 4.30 pm, the Chief Election Commissioner and other officers will leave for Delhi.
