Eco Tourism Board’s package to Van Vihar

Bhopal. In its attempt to attractive tourists packages to increase and popularize tourism in state, Madhya Pradesh Eco-Tourism Board is launching eco-tour package for Bhopal’s Van Vihar National Park and nearby tourist spot Kerwa from June 23. Under the package, tourists will be taken on tour of tourist spots in and around Bhopal from 9 am to 5 pm. These packages will be available on weekends and holidays.

This attractive tour package will be available to tourists on weekends and holidays. Tourists will leave in a convenient bus decorated with attractive photograph of natural scenes for Van Vihar at 9 am from Eco-Tourism’s office situated at Urja Bhavan, Link Road, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal. After enjoying sightseeing, bird watching etc at Van Vihar, tourists will reach Van Vihar at 12.15 pm. Here they will be served breakfast and lunch. At Kerwa, tourists will enjoy several adventure activities like commando net, Tarzan swing, monkey crawl, boating etc.

It may be mentioned that “Jungle Caravan” eco-tour package is being launched by Madhya Pradesh Eco-Tourism Board from June 23, 2012. These places include Van Vihar-Kerwa, Kathotiya, Samardha and Chidikho. Each person will have to pay Rs. 800 for the package which included tea, snacks and lunch.
