Dewas topped on MNREGA work in MP
Bhopal. Dewas has topped on the basis of various public welfare works undertaken under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA in june. Hoshangabad has secure second position. After staying at the second place for consecutive two weeks, Raisen district has slipped to the third place. In the latest ranking list, five districts are in ‘A’ category, eight in ‘B’ category, 12 in ‘C’ category and 25 districts are in ‘D’ category.
District headquarters Ujjain has hit bottom of the list and Gwalior district, which was at the bottom last month has attained 45th rank. Additional Chief Secretary Panchayats & Rural Development Smt. Aruna Sharma has congratulated the districts having made outstanding work. In June, Dewas, Hoshangabad, Sehore and Betul have been placed under ‘A’ category. Smt. Sharma is monitoring the work constantly. She has directed to ensure fulfillment of State Government’s priorities and norms of the scheme.
