Crop Insurance Sum of Rs. 576 Crore will be deposited in Bank Accounts of Vidisha’s Farmers

Bhopal. Decision of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to ban currency notes to eliminate terrorism, black money and corruption is a historical decision. There is no need for worry for the honest people. Their hard earned money is being exchanged. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said this during the bhoomi –poojan and dedication programme worth Rs. 234.59 crore organized at Vidisha today.

CM Shri Chouhan said that counterfeit notes were being sent by our neighboring country in large numbers. This situation was lethal for our country’s economy. Shri Chouhan appealed to the citizens to adopt cashless economy.

Shri Chouhan informed that a sum of Rs. 576 crore is being deposited in the bank accounts of over One lakh farmers of Vidisha district. This sum is being paid towards the damage to soyabean crop. He further said that the state government is committed for the welfare of poor of urban areas besides farmers. Wheat and rice at the rate of Re. One per k.g. are being provided to the poor families of urban areas. Work to provide land to the houseless families for construction of house and to provide house is being carried out in a planned manner.

CM Shri Chouhan further informed that smart phone is being included in the gifts provided by the state government to the newly wed couples under the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojna. This arrangement is being made to facilitate newlywed couples to purchase items through smart phone adopting cashless transactions. He directed the officials to organise at least one community marriage programme in each assembly constituency of Vidisha district. Shri Chouhan also administered oath of ‘Swachcha Vidisha- Apna Vidisha’ to the gathering present on the occasion.

Study Hard, Government will Support

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan spoke to the students attending free coaching at Baraipura High School during his Vidisha tour. He told the students to study with devotion and the state government will support them. While boosting their morals, Shri Chouhan said that they should bring laurel to Vidisha by getting selected in various competitions. Shri Chouhan praised the unique initiative taken by the Nagarpalika and district administration for free coaching.

It may be mentioned that the students are being prepared for various competitive examinations by the subject experts. Around 1500 children are being prepared for various competitive examinations. Several students have achieved success since last one year.
