Congress Seeks Relief for Soya Farmers

Bhopal  —  Seeking relief for affected farmers, AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Friday urged Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to conduct a survey in the Rajgarh district of the state to assess the damage caused to the soyabean crop due to a recent caterpillar attack.

In a letter to Chouhan, Singh claimed that the caterpillar attack resulted in no seeds in the soya pods and sought relief for the farmers suffering losses due to the phenomena.
