Cong Leader, Driver Found Dead in Farmhouse
Madhya Pradesh Congress leader Kailash Agarwal and his driver Pappu, who have been missing, have been found dead in a farmhouse in Dewas district, said media reports citing police.
Police said that Agarwal’s burn Scorpio vehicle was found on the Bhopal-Dewas highway and the bodies of the two, who have been missing since Friday, were found nearly 20 km away, reports said.
Police took into custody a man named Narain Singh for the twin murders and he has confessed having murdered the leader and his driver, said reports.
A manhunt has been launched for his accomplices.
Dhar Superintendent of Police Rakesh Gupta said: “Agarwal was killed due to enmity with Narain Singh. Agarwal has been a witness against Narain Singh in a one-year-old assault case.”
