College libraries to have wi-fi facility

Bhopal: The state government is providing wi-fi facility in libraries for imparting education through modern means and increase use of internet in colleges. Commissioner Higher Education Dr. V.S. Niranjan has said that banned and social networking sites will be prohibited under this facility.

Wi-fi facility on college premises will be available with high signal strength uninterruptedly. It will be used by wi-fi Directives have been given to put up sign board of “wi-fi enabled” at libraries. The wi-fi facility has been provided at Bhopal’s Government Motilal Vigyan Mahavidyalaya, Sarojini Naidu Girls Post-graduate College, Gitanjali Post-graduate college, BHEL Post-graduate College and Naveen College.
